사무엘상 2장 6,7,10절

여호와는 죽이기도 하시고 살기리도 하시며 음부에 내리게도 하시고 올리기도 하시는도다
여호와는 가난하게도 하시고 부하게도 하시며 낮추기도 하시고 높이기도 하시는도다
여호와를 대적하는 자는 산산이 깨어질 것이라 하늘 우뢰로 그들을 치시리로다 여호와께서 땅 끝까지 심판을 베푸시고 자기 왕에게 힘을 주시며 자기의 기름 부음을 받은 자의 뿔을 높이시리로다

"THE LORD brings death and makes alive; he brings down to the grave and raises up.
THE LORD sends poverty and wealth; he humbles and he exalts.

those who oppose the LORD will be shattered. He will thunder against them from heaven; the LORD will judge the ends of the earth.
"He will give strength to his king and exalt the horn of his anointed."

CEV:
You take away life, and you give life. You send people down to the world of the dead and bring them back again.
Our LORD, you are the one who makes us rich or poor. You put some in high positions and bring disgrace on others.
Our LORD, those who attack you will be broken in pieces when you fight back with thunder from heaven. You will judge the whole earth and give power and strength to your chosen king.
